About My Mom, Chelsie

Chelsie McManus was born in Lonoke, a small farming town in Arkansas. She went to Lonoke High School and Homecoming night, October 25, 2002, mom was involved in a car accident that left her in a coma for 6 months, and rehabilitation for another 6 months. Leaving her permanently disabled. She overcame that, but will never completely recover. When she was discharged from rehab, she went back to Lonoke, and then began college at University of Central Arkansas to obtain an Early Childhood Education degree. After Pop and Mimi moved to Colorado, she followed a year later in 2010, and transferred to Colorado Mountain College where she obtained a Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, and Bachelors of Applied Science in Leadership and Management. Overwhelming everyone in getting these degrees.

She was living independently in Breckenridge, Colorado and working in Childcare, when she got involved with some unforgiveable individuals who took advantage of her financially and otherwise… shortly afterwards I was conceived, not planned, but I am a testament that not all oop’s are a mistake.

When she was pregnant with me she was drugged, and doctor’s feel that her issues during pregnancy, delivery, almost loss of life, and my developmental delays could have been caused by the drugs she had been given and the mistreatment she endured by these unsavory characters, though he is unknown, none of them have no right to call me their child.
